It also adds a second pass through wire from the headliner for the ability to have backlight power for certain lights. It also adds a ground. It then runs out under the weather seal and is very slim and low profile. This eliminates having bulky wire hiders up the windshield or drilling holes through the roof panel for the one prep wire. It picks up where Ford stopped in the prep process. You can choose any style adapter to match any light to plug in at the end. Install is super easy and clean.
