This 10 gauge extension is best combined with our HD Light bar harness which is also 10AWG. That harness is approx 6 foot long and has a built in relay with a 40 amp fuse. It has a 3 Pole Male Weather Pack connector at the end. It also includes 3 heat shrink butt connectors to replace that putt connector in a package. In this case, you would use those to direct connect this extension to utilize the full 30 amps. This would give a 12 foot harness.
